A new digital home for Glenwood & Bulwer.
The new GBRRA website is the first step toward a more connected, informed and active neighbourhood platform.
We wanted the new website to reflect the kind of organisation we are trying to build: visible, practical, community-led and focused on the neighbourhood itself.
That means the website cannot simply be a place to download a membership form. It should become a place where residents can see what is being worked on, understand local projects, find upcoming events, follow community updates and know how to get involved.
The new Municipal Services section is designed around a particularly important goal: building a better historical record of infrastructure problems. When recurring leaks, potholes, outages, dumping sites and other issues are mapped and tracked over time, community engagement can move beyond isolated complaints toward evidence and patterns.
We're also beginning a Local Business section and Weekly Specials board. Glenwood and Bulwer have a strong local business community, and we want residents to be able to discover nearby businesses and current offers while giving businesses an easy way to participate in the wider community platform.
This is only the start. As the platform grows, GBRRA intends to keep adding useful information and tools rather than allowing the website to become static.
